HOLLYWOOD PEEL (CARBON LASER PEEL)
General Information
The Carbon Laser Peel, also called Hollywood Peel, is an effective and gentle laser peel, after which the treated person is immediately socially acceptable (no down-time). It is also called Hollywood Peel because many stars do the peeling before the appearance on the red carpet to have an even and radiant complexion. Acne lesions (inflammatory pimples and blackheads), coarsened pores, superficial wrinkles, fine pigment spots, melasma and sun damage can be treated.
For whom is the treatment for?
The treatment is suitable for men and women, of all ages and for all skin types.
Treatment
At the beginning, a carbon-containing face mask is applied, which enhances the laser effect. This is followed by three laser passes. In the first round, the skin is warmed up and the mask is inserted deeper into the skin. The heat stimulates collagen formation. In the second pass, the mask and thereby part of the top layer of skin are removed (exfoliation). Through the third pass, the pores are refined and an antibacterial effect is achieved.
Risks / Side-Effects
After the therapy there may be a slight reddening of the skin, which will go away on its own after a short time. In rare cases, there are temporary swellings that go away with cooling.
Treatment recommendation
An improvement in the complexion can already be seen after one treatment. To achieve the maximum effect, 4-5 treatments at intervals of 1-2 weeks are necessary.
Recommendation after therapy
The skin should not be exposed to the sun immediately after peeling or protected with sun protection PF 50. A sauna and solarium should be avoided as long as the skin is red.
